Partying Beneath a Halloween Moon

Take a stroll before the sun sets…

Follow your heart wherever it leads

but beware the woodland creatures

with mischief in their souls.
As darkness falls  you will find the way

There will be lanterns to light your path…

a guide or two will show up to help you along.

When you
see the
you are almost there.

The fairies are expected.

They have planned a game of hide and seek.

We are pulling out the special glassware

in honor of a very special guest.

See how her hair is in celebratory curls for this evening?

Her name is Katie and she is a OOAK creation  (one of a kind) from the imagination and heart of Ms Sonia of Sonia Rodriguez Designs.

She may have been a Creepy Orphan at one time, but has wished herself into a kitty playing in a Trick or Treat bag.
Sonia is having tea with us this evening as well. Please visit her
and visit some of Katie’s friends. Maybe you will adopt one yourself!  She is now my newest Favorite Thing.

Oh- duck!
It is a messenger that more guests are arriving.

Would you like an appetizer?

Choose carefully who you decide to sit beside you.

The celestial bowl is from a set clearanced at a major retailer several years ago,
a gift from a special friend.
Paper leaves from another friend, as was the wooden acorn a gift.
Smiling sun candle holder from a yard sale.
Under fabric from a Freecycle friend.
Backdrop hand towl from the dollar store.
The Golden Foliage vintage  glass part of a 60s set thrifted.

And the lighted tree was originally from a dollar store but acquired second hand.
This post is part of the Under A Halloween Moon Tea party at Frosted Petunias
I am sorry the tea itself is not ready.
Please join the fairies in that game of hide and seek.

Please join me tomorrow when Ghouls Just Wanna Have Fun!
And link up with Laurie to see other people’s favorite things,

I loved walking through those gorgeous flowers and tramping in the woods, including the “Green Man” who met us. I would have loved to have seen your doggies and cat walking with us, but I know they can be so naughty when it comes to tea parties. Thank you for the wonderful time and would love to have tea with you over at our house.

I would be more afraid of the woodland creature than the spider, actually both. Spooky tea party and so much fun. I forgot to make goodies to go with the tea, too enchanted by a lovely church and forgot so many other things….hehehe!

I have another prize draw for this coming Sunday ~ HALLOWEEN October 31st / 2010 for a tiny seashell soldered bottle. Drop in for a visit.
